This weekend, SFGMC was set to commemorate its 38th Anniversary at the National AIDS Memorial Grove. It was the perfect location for the Chorus to gather in such a sacred space to honor our past and all who have gone before.
Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating. The 5-day forecast has our chance of rain from 20% - 100%. We could certainly take our chances on the rain, but with many days of precipitation, the Grove itself ranges from soggy to a virtual lake – which it actually once was.
Because of this, we have decided the only option is to postpone the event to a later date when we can gather together at the NAMG. We will absolutely let you know when an alternate date is selected.
Thank you all for your love of SFGMC. We look forward to seeing you in December.
