Originally from Bellingham, WA, Danny earned a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, concentrated in Piano Performance & Pedagogy. He has found SFGMC's mission of creating change through music to be incredibly inspiring & necessary work, and is thrilled to be a part of it! Prior to joining SFGMC in 2023, he was a Staff Pianist and Music Faculty at San Francisco Ballet School, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Boston Conservatory. He’s performed on stage with SFDanceWorks, Smuin Ballet & SFBallet School, where he developed a Music Class for Dancers and continues to accompany. In the realm of Musical Theatre, Cabaret, & Opera he’s music directed or played keyboards for dozens of productions ranging from National Tours to local productions in Boston, Seattle & San Francisco. Favorites include An American In Paris, Hello Dolly, Shrek, The Color Purple, Into The Woods and Chicago. His solo concerts are featured annually during SF Botanical Garden’s Flower Piano Festival each September, and his orchestrations can be heard at a SFGMC Concert near you!
